Long story... if I could rate this hotel 0 stars I would. First room toilet seat was broken in half, room was very dirty. They transferred us to another room and it looked like someone had laid on the bed and the lights weren’t working. I went down and talked to the lady (which was useless, you have to press a button for service at the front desk and the lady who was in the back office was listening to the tv so loud she couldn’t hear me. Or she was ignoring me.) Once she finally heard the bell it took her forever to pause her show and come trampling out in her slippers. I asked to be transferred once again and she said she couldn’t transfer us to another room because I booked through Expedia and that I needed to call them. That didn’t work so I went down and talked to her again and she gave us a new room but when I went to use the key for the third room it wouldn’t work. I went down and talked to her again and she finally transferred us to a fourth room and the heater wasn’t working and it was really cold. We didn’t want to bother so we just stayed with that room. A couple of days went by and we ended up staying another night. She told me we could stay in the same room and she would just add the other night. When we got back to the hotel later that night, the key wouldn’t work like she said it would. We looked everywhere for the managers and they were no where to be found. We called both the hotel number and the cell number and neither worked. Finally after 45 minutes of being locked out of our room they finally showed up and said they went out to dinner. They were very rude when I confronted them about our stay with them. I called Expedia and was able to get a partial refund. We packed up that night from the cold and dirty room and went down to the Sundance Motel. The owner was so nice and understanding. The room was super clean and warm. We will definitely stay at the Sundance Motel again. We will not be returning to the Baymont By Wyndham. Baymont looks nice on the outside but once you go in you’ll find yourself in a dirty hotel, with broken appliances and rude owners. Also the lobby has signs that masks are required and neither one of the owners wore a mask. This place should not be allowed to be in business.More
