We chose this restaurant, as we were staying next door at the Motel 6 with our pups in tow and were craving Mexican food that would allow take out. Now, I lived in San Diego for decades and currently live in Tucson AZ -- so we know great Mexican food both Baja and Sonoran influenced. This place was pretty decent. We ordered chips (and guacamole on a recommendation from the gal in the restaurant) and the guacamole was delicious. The chips did not appear to be house made -- which was a bummer. My husband had the carne asada and he liked it, came with beans and rice, as well as a stack of corn tortillas (store bought, lost a star). I had the chimichanga which had diced up carne asada (or some type of beef) as they did not do ground or shredded. It was interesting, as it did not appear to be in a flour tortilla, more of a puffed type dough. I thought it was good -- no more no less.
