We went out on a crystal clear winter morning with Jackson Hole Eco Tour Adventures and were wowed by fantastic animal sightings, gourmet treats, and most importantly fascinating insight from our extremely knowledgeable guide, Josh. Could not recommend more highly a trip out with JH Eco Tour Adventures.

We chose to do an all day Yellowstone tour with Jackson Hole Eco Tour Adventures. The day started early, with a 6:30 AM pickup time in the public parking lot next to the Home Ranch Visitor Center.

We were barely out of town, out by the Elk Refuge, when we encountered a large bull moose strolling down the middle of the highway. It was too dark to take a photo, but it was a great start to our day.

A little further on, we spotted some elk. Not long after that, we saw a coyote right by the shoulder of the road.

We saw some bison, then more elk. We even saw a mule deer doe and her two fawns.

As we made our way along the Lower Loop, we stopped at an overlook in Hayden Valley. We learned from some of the onlookers with spotting scopes that wolves had been sighted earlier and were still in the area.

I was lucky enough to see a wolf stand up and stretch before lying back down through the scope. Although it was more of a four-legged blob than anything, due to distance and distortion.

I wish we could’ve seen one a bit closer, but our guide, Mike, said that wolves are difficult to find and see. So I feel lucky to have seen them at all.

We continued on around the Loop, arriving in the Old Faithful area in time to catch the eruption of both Grand Geyser and Old Faithful. After that, it was time to head back toward Jackson.

On the return trip we saw more elk, some pronghorn, and two black bears. All in all, it was a very good day, and well worth the early start.

I highly recommend going on with them. With the all-day option, lunch is provided. They also have lots of snacks and hot and cold drinks to keep you going throughout the day. There are plenty of stops for photos and for bathroom breaks as well. Binoculars are provided so you can get a closer look at wildlife in the distance. The van itself is equipped with charging ports and cup holders for each seat. The vans also sport roof hatches that allow you to stand up and observe wildlife without having to get out of the vehicle.

If we ever get back to the Jackson area, I would love to do a multi-day tour with them. Can't recommend these folks enough!

Going to an area of the country where we've never been and knowing there is so much to see we decided to sign up for a couple of tours. We are so glad we chose Eco Tour Adventures to show us the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Shaun was our guide both days and his knowledge of the area, animals and eco-systems in both parks was amazing. We were able to see animals in the wild, the geo-thermals of Yellowstone and of course Old Faithful did not disappoint. We learned so much about the area and have a much better appreciation for the great outdoors! Thanks to Shaun and Eco Tour Adventures.

We travel a lot and have taken numerous tours throughout the world and I would rate this among the best we have ever taken. Mark was unbelievably knowledgeable and very personable. He could answer anything about theTetons and it's wildlife. We did the full day and there was never a lull. We saw moose, elk, bison, etc. I would strongly suggest this tour to anyone.

Last minute trip to Jackson Hole and very grateful I was able to get on one of the last tours of the season. It was a fun mix of people on the tour. Shaun, who was our guide for the day, was very professional and provided in depth detail of any questions we had. It had snowed that morning and although the usual itinerary had to be switched up, he aptly improvised for us to hit the most important sights. Highly recommend!
