We booked a full day tour for both the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks with JH Eco Tour Adventures. The Grand Teton was a wildlife tour and the Yellowstone Tour was a combination wildlife and geology tour. Our tour guide (Shaun) was great! He was very knowledgeable about the area and where to go to spot wildlife. We saw tons of bison up close, the infamous Blondie the grizzly bear with her 2 cubs (which was awesome), a larger male grizzly, eagles, a muskrat swimming in one of the many lakes, otters, elk, moose, and tons of mule deer. Our guide made sure the group all got a chance to take videos and pictures of wildlife as well as he knew where the best stops were for great pictures of the Grand Tetons and spots within Yellowstone. The tour guide also provided binoculars to each person and also put out spotting scopes on the wildlife for an even more close up experience. Shaun also ensured our safety around any wildlife that we came upon on the tour as well as the safety of the wildlife. On our trip to Yellowstone we were educated about the geology of this wonderful ecosystem system and saw many lakes and had various stops to see the different geysers, hot springs, basins, waterfalls, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Shaun made sure we arrived in time at Old Faithful in order to see its eruption--another plus!!! The tours provided tons of beverages, healthy snacks, breakfast items and lunch during the full day trips. The owner also followed up the day after the tours to make sure our experience was enjoyable. Overall a very awesome experience!

The time spent with this group was completely positive--we saw a sampling of everything and we are so happy to feel we know these parks better, even though we have had (limited) visits to both on our own in the past. The guides' expertise--wildlife, terrain and history of the parks-- and consideration for individual needs could not have been better.

Our van driver and guide, Mark, lectured us most of the time on the facts pertaining to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and our van, between wildlife stops, was a rolling lecture hall of fascinating information! His ability to spot wildlife in the far distances was truly amazing!

We were on a multi-day trip with 11 participants. Jackson Eco Tour Adventure guides provided us unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities in both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. We saw grizzly bears, wolves, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, pronghorn, black bears and amazing diversity of birds. Eco Tour guides knew where and when we needed to be to get the best opportunity to watch wildlife and were able to fill the time when we were driving and searching for wildlife with their local knowledge of the natural history, geology and biology of these treasured National Parks. Their guides were also very knowledgeable on the conservation of our Parks and wildlife. We had great accommodations and they provided day lunches and field breakfast for the trip. The fall trip was amazing for both scenery and wildlife movements. The best part is you get to really enjoy the Parks without having the anxiety or distraction with driving yourself and the guides cater the trip to your interests and get you to your destinations safely. Highly recommended!

We used Eco Tour Adventures when we were on vacation earlier this month. We were staying close to Jackson and took a small private tour of Yellowstone. There were four of us all together. We were picked up in a very nice SUV with the ability to open the roof. Our guide was Shawn and we told him we really wanted to see wildlife and he sure was able to make that happen. We saw wolves, coyotes, bison, pronghorn, moose, brown bears with their cubs eating in the trees and were about 30 yards from a grizzly bear (we were safely in the car but got great photos.) I know part of this was luck but it sure was fun. Shawn was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He came equipped with snacks, warm drinks, cold drinks, binoculars and a tripod.

One of the reasons we wanted a private tour was because we wanted to hit the highlights of Yellowstone and it is so vast, if you don't know where you are going, you can miss a lot. We were able to see all of the highlights and it was a spectacular experience. Being early October, weather was unpredictable and we watched Old Faithful erupt in the snow. Shawn also made sure we got out of there in time enough to avoid treacherous roads.

I highly recommend Eco Tour adventures.
