We chose to stop here for breakfast because we saw such good reviews. Our experience was nothing like those reviews that convinced us to go here.

Our server was very responsive and helpful! She was the best part of our visit.

Our breakfast started with very weak coffee. Our server kept our cups full but our table lacked sugar packets that we had to get from a nearby empty table.

Two people ordered eggs over medium, which at other restaurants means that the whites are fully cooked but the yolks are not. Our eggs were thoroughly cooked and hard, including the yolks.

The biscuits were straight out of the refrigerated tube. Homemade biscuits are always a highlight for breakfast out, but you find them here.

Our daughter ordered a lunch item, roast beef and mashed potatoes. She found every couple of bites tasted odd. The whole plate was covered in gravy right out of a jar and the whole mass was lukewarm. She asked the server to return the dish to the kitchen to be warmed. The server gladly obliged. The meal was served with a vegetable, cold peas from a can. Really? Canned vegetables is the best they had?

The front of the restaurant was packed with a rummage sale. However, don't expect any deals. Items were incredibly overpriced.

Our server noticed that the roast beef meal didn't get eaten and asked if it was ok. We reluctantly told her that it wasn't very good and she removed it from our bill.

Our server was the highlight of our visit. We are not terribly picky people, but I have to believe that you will find a better breakfast elsewhere in town.

This place used to be fabulous, but there are new owners. We were given a typed paper menu. The back door was open and the place had flies all over. Hash browns were raw, onions uncooked, and the sausage patty was so greasy I was sick later. I would avoid this place in the future and seek out Our Place which was too busy.

Had breakfast at this location.
Lots of locals eating here so we decided to try. It didn't disappoint. The pancakes and the biscuits and gravy were delicious.
No frills decor, but the food makes up for it!

Three of us stopped in for breakfast on July 5th. Two of us are local, and one was visiting from AZ. We had eaten here on and off in the past and were generally satisfied with the food and service. But this most recent visit was very disappointing to say the least. It was not the waitress's fault---she was pleasant, friendly, and attentive. But the meal itself was a total bust. The bacon wasn't cooked, the hash browns were raw, the pancakes were cooked but they were saturated with bacon grease---like sponges saturated with bacon grease. Not good. On a positive note, the eggs were fine. Maybe we showed up on an off day, or maybe the place is under new management....don't know. But if uncooked food is the norm, this place has gone downhill. C'mon Wild Horse Cafe---you used to be a pretty good place to have breakfast. What the heck is going on? Please get your act together!

The Wild Horse Cafe used to be my favorite breakfast and sometime lunch place to go for a great meal. Now the food is still good (when you get what you ordered and it gets to your table still warm) but the service is horrendous. If you want to be ignored this is your place. Unfortunately I can see the demise of what once was a great eatery gone by the wayside of poor management/ownership.
