Miniature village must have taken years to assemble and create with story telling audios. Wonderful private collection of the old west and fascinating historical artifacts. Very personable owners who took time to provide detailed explanations.

This museum is a person's life long collection and dioramas of the west. Very interesting and unique collection of artifacts. Plan on spending at least an hour viewing all of the displays. Admission is free, donations only collected

This is a neat little museum. It's in a store so you can browse before you go in. The owner of the store and museum creator was very friendly and told us some interesting stuff. The museum is free but he recommends a donation of $5 a person.

He has a lot of old west memorabilia in the museum, although most doesn't have a write up about it. There there is a very large miniature set-up of various times in Wyoming. He certainly spent a lot of time putting this together, and has a lot of attention to detail, such as smoke coming out of the chimney (cotton). Also, there are a few trains that work so kids can push a button to make the miniature train move, which our son liked.

At each section you can press a button to hear a recording about what the scene is depicting.

Since this is free (or a donation of your choice) it's something to see. We spend about 30 minutes there with our son. Kind of a unique little stop in Cody.

At best, average. Had there been an admission, I would have rated it a "2" instead of 3. This attraction is free (donation admission) but after a day at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center with its excellent interpretation and extensive collections, this "museum" (actually a hodge-podge collection) just couldn't compete. Lots of "stuff" mostly unmarked with little (if any) context.

If you're into taxidermy, the owner has a HUGE collection. The miniature museum itself I thought was awesome and so did my toddler. The attention to detail and the amount of artifacts of native americans was wonderful to see. Learnt quite a bit and saw some amazing animals... It's a small museum indoors and literally a big room filled with a lot of things.
