Interesting characters. A lot of reading in presenting the stories. Good collection of artefacts makes for a good visit

This museum was a great find . Don't miss the the movie. My husband and I enjoyed it. Lots of interesting displays. Learned a lot about the women of the west.
And it's free.
Also check out the cowgirl emporium next door.

My Mom and I stumbled across this by accident and it is certainly worth a few minutes of your time to stop and take a peek. It is not huge place, but rather small and one to see if cowgirls of the west is of interest to you. We were glad to stop in and see the displays.

We wanted to visit the Cowgirls of the West Museum while in Cheyenne, but discovered when we got there that is it closed until May 2017. Disappointing!

This was well located and easy to walk to in the downtown area.
Despite arriving after closing time, we were able to partake of the great window displays.
