Good lunch, service a little slow. The restaurant is connected to bakery. There is a window where you can watch cakes being decorated.

This is a very quaint bakery...great cinnamon bread...and also a cafe. We enjoyed breakfast in the past but most recently had excellent home-made soup and sandwich.
This restaurant is an old favorite of ours. We eat breakfast here when in the area. The coffee is good and the waitresses keep your cup full. The rest of the food is always done righ and our favorite is the hashbrowns, which are never overly greasy but still are crispy. Ask for onions in them and they are extra good. Nice for small families.
West Bend's finest bakery... & possibly only bakery.
I love their baked goods. Apple fritters, rolls, donuts... amazing. The restaurant is not as great as the bakery. That said... if you enjoy a laid back, midwest-affordable, bacon infused, breakfast experience... you won't be disappointed.
Every time I go to West Bend my husband begs me to visit Hankerson's Bakery. The have amazing baked goods. Our family favorite is the morning bun. They also have lovely cakes and cookies, and the breads are great. I don't often eat donuts, but when I go to Hankerson's, I can't resist.
