This active dairy farm has animals to pet and feed, a play area and best of all a viewing room where the public can watch the milking process. There are lots of goodies -- especially ice cream. It's a short distance from all other attractions, so check it out -- especially if you have little ones and/or you just like cows!!!

We made a short stop here on our way back to Sturgeon Bay. Unfortunately we didn't get to view the cows in the parlor. (Not that we were crushed, as our BIL milked cows for 20 years so it wasn't anything new.) However, that is kind of the main attraction. There is a very cute little gift shop and our one-year-old loved the animals outside. The little goats were so cute and he got to pet them. They also had a baby pony. Had some nice photo ops as well. We were glad we stopped.

Thank schrades

We stopped on a cold, windy day in May to get a homemade ice cream cone. It was delicious. This is a working dairy farm with an educational view of the milking process for viewing as you sample your fudge, ice cream, or whatever you decided to snack on. I found it very interesting to watch the process of the cows being led in, sanitized, milked, cleaned again and led out of the milking area and the wash down and sanitization of the facility. There are some gifts for purchase and a playground outside for kids. Good place to spend an hour or so with the family.

Went here and they were making fresh fudge. This is a great place to take kids to show them cows being milked. It teaches them about milking cows and there is a fake cow that the kids can milk. A great hands on place for the kids!!!!

Thanks for taking time to share your impressions Kathi. We appreciate it and glad you got a chance to watch fudge making... so tempting. Yum! We enjoy sharing the dairy farm activities with folks who might not ever get a chance to see what goes on inside the barns.

Great place for kids. Ice Cream shop is wonderful and the kids love to watch the Cows get milked. It should be on a families to do list.
