Review of Schooner Pub

Schooner Pub & Grill is one of many great places to visit in Port Washington's historic district of original old buildings. Wonderfully rennovated inside and yet retaining some original oak flooring and surrounding waist high woodwork on nearby walls; the exterior is all authentic 1930's era gray block. The pub is reminiscent of the Jennings & company eatery in Wisconsin Rapids in decor, look, feel, and great food. Patrons are all ages but typically middle aged, a product of the 70s. There is also a bar upstairs along with a walk out patio ecased in glass that overlooks the nearby harbor. Food at Schooner's is excellent and the waitresses are too. I loved my buffalo burger and hope to visit there again sometime.

A fun, lively casual pub with a really good vibe. Beer flows quickly and shrimp po’ boy was very good. Definitely a fun spot for loud conversation and an evening of good times...also heard they serve a mean Bloody Mary...great views of the harbor.

The view makes up for the lack of service. It's more of a pub versus restaurant. Food was average.

We had burgers.

Beautiful lakefront setting. Very soothing. Port Washington its self looked just like the setting of Hallmark movie. We would return!

We were here at lunch time with no agenda and debated where we should get some lunch. We ended up at Schooner Pub and had a great experience. There is a sign by the stairs leading up to the restaurant on the Port side that is an alert to families that this is a Pub/Tavern and not the normal family restaurant atmosphere. However, there was nothing to be concerned about at lunch time. Morgan was our server and was very helpful with the menu selections and beer choices. It is an old building and unfortunately some of the tables/chairs reflect that. But, hey, that doesn't change the taste of the food, nor the service.

Great view of the harbor. Started out with cheese curds, your in Wisconsin after all, they were very good. My gal had a great cheeseburger and I had a delicious bratwurst patty sandwich that was served with grilled onions. Cocktails we were large and well priced. This was a great start to our weekend.
