We were fortunate to stay at the Westin Milwaukee during our most recent stay in November. Conveniently located near the Historic Third Ward and other prime locations in Downtown Milwaukee, this hotel definitely stands out as one of the best in the area. Museums, breweries, restaurants, and other touristic attractions can be found within a walking distance of the hotel. In addition, everyone that works there was more than helpful and tentative to our needs during our stay, so we truly enjoyed the nine nights we spent during Thanksgiving week.

Their one bedroom suite (700 sq. ft. approximately) provided the additional space needed for a long-term vacation. The living room was more than spacious, and the bathroom was incredible with a bathtub included. The heavenly bed is truly comfortable, especially after a long day of walking or sightseeing Milwaukee. I would highly recommend that you inquire with the hotel about its availability or book in advance to secure this room type.

Even though the hotel is operating with certain limitations due to COVID-19, we felt safe and were more than thankful to each team member of the Westin for their hard work. Each person provided coverage in many of the hotel areas, and felt that the overall team went above and beyond to make it work for hotel guests. Special thanks to Amgad, Damon, Dakota, Michael, Brian and most importantly to Ryan and Amanda. Both of them were always happy to extend a helping hand during our stay, and truly show how much they love their job.

We highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit in the near future their sister property - Marriott Downtown Milwaukee.

Our first time doing an overnight since the start of the pandemic and we wanted a quick break in Milwaukee. We got that at The Westin - very close to Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee Art Museum, all things lakefront, and shopping. Our room was immaculate and had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, Summerfest grounds, and the Hoan Bridge. Everyone respected masking and social distancing. Easy and friendly valet parking. Room had all the necessary amenities, along with some extras like the “heavenly beds,” spacious bathroom, extra large TV, and best of all...it was quiet. (Photos show our view from the room.)

Stayed here for ten nights and it was great. Even with Covid affecting operations, the staff did not “mail it in” as many other hotels are. From check in to check out, service was top notch. Rooms were great. Bed was great and just an overall great experience.

Yes, housekeeping is limited, which is not a big deal for me. But if you need something, they will be happy to assist.

Restaurant was not open but bar was.

I am upset I did not get the name of the young lady who served coffee each morning. What a ray of sunshine! I wanted to make sure she was recognized as going above and beyond. Hard to see people smiling with masks, but you could tell by her eye she was smiling.

Spent 4 nights at the Westin and couldn’t be more pleased. Every staff member made sure to greet us where ever we were in the hotel. The room was roomy for a downtown location and the bed was very comfortable. I initially made a reservation for a “Corner King with a downtown view” I order to have a bit more room since there were a fair number of family member with us, but ended up in a “King” without the corner. Not a big deal but, no one could explain why I was moved. Again, not a complaint as the room we received was very nice.

I have stayed here before and love the location and the service. I now have new appreciation for their caring of customers. I had used my travel to cancel an itinerary on Sunday including the stay at this westin for wed night.

Needless to say My travel did not get to it and the hotel reached out today for my remote checkin. I immediately realized they never received the cancellation. But when we called they were amazing and cancelled this for me.

I recognize fantastic service. Thank you westin Milwaukee!!!
