This is, and has been, a family-owned restaurant for years, and that sense of family working together was very evident! Though the booth was rather small for the 4 of us and tables are close together, this restaurant makes the most of their space so people can be seated as quickly as possible. We were there at 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning, and while seated immediately, there were a few groups waiting for tables by the time we left.
I had the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes topped with a cream cheese "frosting!" Yes, they were sweet, and I took half of them home, but definitely a unique breakfast treat. They still tasted great when I warmed them for my breakfast 3 days later.
Others in the group had one of the specialty pancakes (strawberry), and 2 others had egg dishes. All agreed this was a place we'd like to eat at in the future!
