I have recently returned from a short stint as a volunteer at the ENHM. THIS IS an extremely interesting Museum based out where the dinosaur and mega-fauna fossils are being found. The small staff contingent have in depth knowledge and are just so passionate when they talk about the finds and what lies ahead, with more fossils to be extracted from the earth than they can handle. You can become a part of the process as they run 'tag along' tours and also assemble tourist dig teams a few times a year. I cannot believe the size of the dinosaurs they have found..So far they have the largest Titanosaur found in Australia's history!! This is a must for travelers in the area.

Thank Steve Y

We drove all the way from Brisbane with my 80 year old father so he could see the dinosaurs, I checked the website and on the front page it shows that the museum is open 7 days per week March - December 2017. The rest of the time it is open 5 days per week closed a Sunday and a Monday. Even the overview here on TripAdvisor shows you are open today. Please make sure your website is current with clearly visible information showing when you close. The Stockmans Hall of Fame and the Qantas Museum had their summer closed time clearly identifiable on their website.

Thanks for your review of the museum. We are very glad that you enjoyed the bones and can imagine the growth of the museum through our expansions. The price of the tour is determined by the experience as well as the museum being not for profit so it is people like your self that are funding the expansions and the building of more interactive displays.
So thank you for coming through and thank you for your review.
