Have taken Granddaughter for each of last 5 years ,she is now 7. You buy your corn for $1 and walk among the geese and ducks where they will literally eat it off your shoes or out of your hand ,be careful they will bite. There is also a nice little zoo to walk through. Did I mention it is all Free.

We are 2 mature adults from the uk and we were blown away with this place ,FANTASTIC .Could not belief it was free .Spent 3/4 hours their, could have spent longer.Plenty of wildlife ,ducks geese, walking about. Also very friendly chipmunks who would take nuts of you.Not seen in uk..Great guy in gift shop who direct us to the feeding of the wolves. Also cougar, coyote, otters, etc. Beautiful setting and walks.I t would have been absolutely perfect if they had small cafe. Also had a interactive center next to gift shop .Brill place would def ok back .Great for kids and adults.Well done to the volunteers specially the lovely man in the gift shop,Who told a good joke .Keep up the great work you do

Was beautiful! Fall colors, animals out and seemed content. My only complaint were the flocks of Canadian geese. They chased us all around the water way. Just awful and scary. Very aggressive!

We go to the sanctuary fairly regularly. We love to walk through all the various sections and learn more about Wisconsin native animals and their habitats. The staff are all very knowledgeable and welcoming. The animals are very well cared for! Make sure to buy lots of corn to feed the ducks and geese, the kids will have a blast! Also, not kidding, if you howl at the wolves 99% of the time they will howl back! :)

Went to the "Sanctuary by Starlight" with my husband and it seems the park just keeps getting better. Easy parking and a lovely walk into the park featuring a lit-up luminaries bridge, lighted waterfalls and tunnel and quiet outside walks. Loved the Celtic music played by Dave Duffey and wonderful food provided by Skaliwags. It was a great night and can't wait till next year.
