If you travel to Door County in the fall, this park is something you don't want to miss. One thing to be aware of, is that if you visit when the entrance center isn't open, it is helpful to have the entrance fee in cash. You stop and fill out a form and deposit your fee in a drop box. A debit card isn't much help here. The park is well marked with beautiful roads (driving through) and separate bike trails and numerous hiking trails. The map is helpful and easy to follow. It would be a great place for a picnic lunch. The views are unbelievable. Sites are well marked with additional historic or natural information.
