Best In The Midwest

The Chanticleer Inn is a sanctuary in the woods. Eight of us converge annually from many places around the globe to make our journey back to this incredible place. For a lovely 5 days it is our home away from home, complete with all of the creature comforts. Fireplace, Jacuzzi, full kitchens and multiple bathrooms.
We were pleasantly surprised with the New Management Team led by Becky. They made a great property and restaurant even better. The Friday night fish fry was Fantastic! Our villa was immaculate and the cleaning staff provided us with exceptional service. See you next February! We love this place and would only stay here when in the area. Thank you Becky & team. ♡

Chanticleer Inn and Hudson House

We've been coming for several decades. Wonderful location. Quiet, yet close to town. Hudson House is particularly wonderful, if you have a larger group or if you really want some privacy and quiet. Can't recommend this highly enough.

Room tip: Hudson House or one of the Villas are the best options. Lots of room and great views.

Best Ever

Beautiful country ,friendly people ,staff is a award winning customer family ,beautiful Inn take time to visit with the family of the NorthWoods , water ,woods , peace n quiet It is a place to call “Home”

An Incredible Sanctuary in the Middle of the Woods

The Chanticleer is my home away from home at a minimum of once a year. Becky and her entire team and fantastic hosts. The Chanticleer has a great location in the peaceful woods at Dollar Lake. Easily accessible and in a wonderful peaceful, beautiful location. I love the woods setting. Whenever I return from the Chanticleer, I am recharged and feel invigorated to face the World again. The Friday night Fish Fry is fantastic. 8 of us had a fantastic dinner. It was so good, we returned on Saturday night for more of their great food. We love this place. It is in great shape, well maintained, super clean and very comfortable. See you in February 2019!!!

Restaurant

We have a home in Eagle River and had the opportunity to dine at Chanticleer Inn. The food was spectacular and the service equally as good. The ambience was equally nice and the view awesome. We have friends who have stayed at Chanticleer for years and they recommended it to us. Was a great experience.

We're so pleased that you had such a wonderful experience in Our Lakeside Lounge & Dining Room! We do hope that you'll join us again! The Lounge & Dining Room will be re-opening the last weekend in April and we have a new Chef, that will be bringing years of experience to our guests!
