Thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage if you want total peace and quiet, secluded in a little lane, has a pub at end of lane, a beautiful little dog called raffie will keep you company and want to play 'throw' the ball, no traffic, clean air, and beautiful surroundings

“Set in a stunning position, on the edge of the Somerset Levels.”
Reviewed 10 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I highly recommend this lovely cottage, set in a stunning position, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The accommodation was immaculate, stylish with great facilities and had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Virginia and Tom were great hosts, making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their advice on the local area was really helpful, including day trips, shopping and places to eat. We loved our stay here and will definitely visit again.

“Everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay in beautiful countryside”
Reviewed 5 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We had the best of both worlds during our stay: set in beautiful countryside but with local towns and attractions very nearby. Booking was fast and straightforward, travel instructions made The Stables easy to find and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The shower was excellent and there is a pub at the end of the road!

“Idyllic, set in a beautiful garden.”
Reviewed 27 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We have just returned from the property and have had a really relaxing very comfortable stay. The cottage is furnished to a high standard and very easy to feel at home in. The bed was the best we have had in a holiday let. The garden is stunning and has the sun all day. There is a pub at the end of the lane which serves good beer and cider and very good food. The farm shop 10 minutes away is really worth a visit, Virginia and Tom who live next door were excellent hosts and ensured we had everything we needed and any information about local amenities, places of interest etc. They have a small dog Raffi who we could happily have adopted and who helped to make our holiday even better. We would recommend Wells especially the Bishops Palace and gardens and the retail therapy at Clarks Village in Street .

“Exceptional accommodation in a beautiful country setting”
Reviewed 18 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed here as part of a trip to Glastonbury for the weekend and found it to be a very high quality cottage in a wonderful country setting, within easy access of Glastonbury and Street. The interior was modern and presented to a very high standard; our bed was very comfortable and it had all the amenities you could want.

The landlady was very friendly and was able to provide advice on helping us with different aspects of our stay.

All in all a great place! A 'hidden gem' in Somerset!
