Popped in for a short 1 night stay but ended up staying 2. Was so thrilled to find a place I could bush camp and take my dog that also allowed fires and wasn’t over run with campervans and trailers. As a free form self sufficient tent camper wanting to connect with nature this can be hard when in popular towns. Thanks to the owners here the experience was private and natural. The facilities were the nicest I have ever experienced camping. As I mentioned, I’m self sufficient and rarely use facilities whether I’ve paid for them or not. The local billabong or beach become my shower, but the facilities at Fraser Coast RV Park were so clean, well presented and immaculately maintained I couldn’t resist using them. And they did not disappoint with a rainwater shower head and plenty of pressure. The camp kitchen provided a great cooking spot for those without gear or utensils, with a beautiful rustic feel. I just loved my time here. Unfortunately due to inclement weather I didn’t get to explore the walking tracks or billabong but I’ll be back, that’s a given!
