We had a very nice vacation; a wonderful week flew in one second...
A family run hotel, on a human scale, managed in a careful, respectful manner to customers, staff, and environment. Probably, a reason for the positivism of the place!
Services, food, cleanness, entertainment, all are done to make your stay a valuable experience!
Besides, the Plan area, slopes, nature will make your stay unforgettable.

We stayed at Aqua Bad recently for a week with family and friends. The standard of service and facilities were great. Having a short ride to the ski lifts in the morning and a heated boot / ski room at the slopes is a big advantage.

We had half board. with breakfast and dinner being excellent.

Talking with Nicole and other guests, I understand that there are many regulars, and this in itself should be the best recommendation of all.

Will be back.

We have just returned having stayed 5 nights on half board terms at the Aqua Bad Cortina a family run hotel that is very comfortable with an emphasis on informal but high standard of service.

Nicol and his wife are very helpful and friendly as are their staff, they go to considerable effort to make your stay enjoyable. Their Tyrolean style hotel is full of character that offers many traditional pursuits plus their unique mineral baths that can be taken by guests.

Our stay was for alpne skiing and although the hotel is only 10 minutes walk to the ski lifts Nicol runs a very efficient shuttle service at regular intervals after their excellent buffet breakfast. They also offer free of charge a ski & heated boot store at the lift station that their guests have exclusive use of - a real bonus to skiers.

My wife and I had a last minute chrisis with our travel arrangements back to the airport, that Nicol when presented with the problem gave invaluable assistance to us for which we are very grateful and doubt that many hoteliers faced with the same situation would have responded so positively.

In conclusion; if it's excellent service, good food, comfort and accomodation full of character, from a small family run hotel, the Aqua Bad Cortins is an excellent choice.

We have just had a fantastic time at this hotel with a real emphasis on relaxation. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the village right next to the cross country skiing track for those who indulge in that activity. We had opted for half board and this usually means that we tend to eat out at least 2 if not 3 of the evenings of the stay as hald board is usually very so so. That really can not be said of this hotel, the owners Nicol and Sandara ensured that there was a variation each evening with very well prepared dishes that actually meant that we ate at the hotel every evening because we really wanted too! some of the most challenging slopes are actually located at the heart of the village which is only a few minutes away with the Black run of Piculin being a challenge well worth doing early in the morning. The slopes are ideal for beginers with a mass array of Blue runs and a drop of service from the hotel. This hotel has made it that my fiancee wants to go skiing again, something that I did not believe would happen. The hotel is able to offer a number of activities from the springs and walks to trips out. The only downside to real ski nuts is the traveling to the slopes, but this is more than made up for by the rest of what this hotel offers and will definately be going back.

Room tip: If your a romantic couple as to be situated slightly away from a room with a family with small children.

I chose this hotel for our wedding holiday of a party of 12 of us and cannot wait to go back. The staff are mainly part of the family run business and all are friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. As soon as you arrive your breathe is taken away at how beautiful it all is. The hotel appears to be larger inside than the photo's can show. I stayed in the aqua room and we had a spare bed which was the water bed, the room was very spacious and we had 2 balconies, one from the bedroom and one from the bathroom. Everything in the rooms was so clean that it appeared a cleaning spell may have been performed. The only thing we missed to begin with was a kettle but after the first day we were glad of the lack of kettle because we might have been a bit less sociable and the coffees in the bar were so delicious I ended up drinking a lot more than I normally would have, I would suggest a latte mochiato yummy! We stayed during the white week and we found lots to keep ourselves amused aside from the wedding. There was markets on in the town only 3 minutes from the hotel and excursions provided by the hotel of which I would recommend the hill walk and sledding back down - very good. We also did Segway and the zip-line through the mountains. With plenty to do there in Marebbe and the help of Nicol we had so much fun and were very sad to leave there. Nicol was very helpful and informative in the weeks preceding the holiday that I felt not a qualm about going there. Half board included breakfast and dinner or which there was such a variety of choices that I don't think I could remember everything which was put out but I can assure that you would find something you would like. At breakfast there was a buffet and at dinner there was a buffet salad and the night before you would choose your meal for the next night. You are given 3 choices for starter and main and no choice for desert but all meals were fantastic and the presentation is more than I expected. There was even a vegetarian of the wedding party which was accommodated for throughout. No request was seen as ridiculous and we felt like nothing was too difficult and the staff were so accommodating. There was a salad buffet with dinner which was always amazing but I would suggest not to fill up too much on salad unless you don't want to finish your main meals. The water there is lovely, fresh and very drinkable and Nicol informed us comes from his own spring. When we come back I am not sure I will be able to leave next time because everything is gorgeous. There is sauna's, tropical showers and sulphur baths for a relaxing time too. This hotel is highly recommended which can be seen by all the previous reviews and I don't think words can express perfectly how wonderful this hotel is but I hope I have conveyed it here as well as possible.
