Close to Al Ringling Theater, our waiter Bobby was so attentive and Trish who is the owner came to our table of four too. We each ordered something different, quiche, chicken salad sandwich, shrimp taco and chef salad. All wonderful served in beautiful decor. We will be back!

As previous reviews have noted, this is a lovely lavender-themed restaurant. The food, unfortunately, was a disappointment. My friend had the veggie "impossible burger," and found it lacking in flavor, with no hint of the cheese that was supposed to be an ingredient. I had the naan-based margherita pizza, which seemed to be covered with a marinara sauce that came out of a vat--lacking in any spice. Worse, it was delivered warm, not hot, one of the staff admitting that it was left too long while preparing the other dish. The only outstanding part of the meal was the lavender lemonade--delicious. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, except for our young male server, who never smiled or made eye contact, and appeared to do his job begrudgingly. This is a fairly new restaurant, it is to be hoped that they can engage a cook who can create food that is interesting and tasty, delivered to the table at the right temperature.

Stopped off for lunch here before headed to Devils' Lake. Great food. Make sure to try the Lavender lemonade. I had the shrimp tacos (3) and was not disappointed. Several shrimp per taco, Asian slaw and topped with a slice of avocado. Yummy! Waitress was excellent! Each plate also comes with a side of Asian slaw and fresh fruit!

The bistro has great aesthetic value, but the food and coffee were lacking taste. I tried two types of coffee: a chicory roast and a double shot of decafe. The chicory was pretty weak but the presentation was nice, the decafe was absolutely terrible (dishwater would be preferred). The staff was friendly and helpful and the food took about 25 minutes from order to first bite. I ordered their flatbread pizza and it was fairly good but lacked any unique quality that would bring me back for more. I would highly recommend that they use an infused oil on their flatbread to enhance and give flavor.
