We wanted to try a new restaurant in town, having been to most of the popular spots, and had loved the Latin joint that used to occupy this location so we stopped in. The Farm to Table or locavore movement is one that interests me so that was a bonus.
On a Friday night... We were seated promptly, greeted warmly, and the hospitality continued throughout the visit.
The arancini appetizer with tomato sauce was delicious, the mixed drinks were inventive and tasty, and our water glasses never got beyond half empty! My husband ordered the shrimp & grits and I ordered the pasta special topped with steak (ricotta ravioli in a white wine and butter sauce with roasted yellow tomatoes) and we were both beyond impressed. We took two desserts to go and they also impressed.
For an upscale restaurant the price was equally impressive- could not have gone to a chain steak house any cheaper!
We will be back, as frequently as possible!
