Ample parking, great welcome from hosts, Would have been happy to move into the room permanently. Spacious and light, dual aspect views over lovely countryside - seating area as well as beds -and the ensuite was bigger than most standard bedrooms and had been very well refurbished - lovely hand/body lotions provided. Breakfast cooked to order, produce fresh and delicious.
If I had to find a negative it would be that we needed to drive to the nearest pub/restaurant and it would have been nice to be in walking distance - but a small price to pay for such good value for money.

We stayed for one night on our way back from Scotland. An excellent choice that exceeds experiences we have had before in B&B's.
Good sized room (Kingfisher) with everything you would require. The ensuite shower room was spacious and well equipped.
Breakfast provided a choice for all tastes and well presented.
The hosts were friendly and most helpful.
I would recommend this as a stopover or indeed a longer stay as there is much to see in the area.

We both stayed here the night before a day's diving at the nearby Capernwray dive centre which is just around the corner.

We were greeted by Mel who instantly made us feel welcome. She then made us a welcome cup of tea, which really made us relax after a long drive. The breakfast as served by Mel's husband Roy was great, just what we needed.

The sandpiper room offered nice views over the countryside and down the drive. The room was clean, bright and very comfortable.

I cannot recommend this guesthouse enough, and hopefully we will be able to stay again soon.

Excellent accommodation with modern amenities. Lovely views. Superb breakfasts.
Convenenient centre for touring Lakes, West Yorkshire & Lancashire. Quiet country situation, but only a few minutes from Junction 35 of M6. We return year after year.
