The Berkley House was a wonderful setting for an escape from the frenetic pace of everyday life. The house is charming, with furniture, books, music, and photographs evoking a step back in time and a deep sense of relaxation. Had a great time there.
Speaking on behalf of all six of us, our Stay at Berkeley house was wonderful. Everything we needed was provided except we could not find the hair dryer. The house was so charming and the location was great. We had lots of conversations with much laughter sitting around the table and on the back deck with the swing. The house was so secluded yet was so close to the town square. We were not aware that the Apple Butter Festival was that weekend but was a nice surprise. Our favorite place that we ate was the Tavern in the Country Inn. Really enjoyed the quaintness and all the history of the town. Wish we would have had more time to explore but overall we had a great experience. Thank you for allowing us to stay at Berkeley House.
The house was lovely& perfect for a girls’ weekend. It was quaint&charming. We spent many hours sitting around the cozy fireplace in the living room just talking. I would definitely come back!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Berkeley house. It was a good place to hang out with our local son, daughter-in-law and 1 year old grandchild. House is very clean and comfortable. Only negative is the beds which are full size and very firm. We knew the size so planned to sleep in two beds because my husband is 6'5". He said the footboard was a bit of a problem even sleeping diagonally.
If you have a toddler bring a child gate because the stairs to the lower floor are open. We had a gate so we didn't have to be nervous.
We enjoyed playing pool too. Walk into town is steep but we zig zagged a block downhill with a parallel block.
