When we arrived we were offered a taste of their Pad Thai. I became the first person to ever order it- how lucky am I ??!! It was fabulous and truly enough to feed at least 4 people. I am not exaggerating. Chicken, shrimp, tofu, everything was fantastic. My partner ordered a cheeseburger and while that was great- the fries were really good.

The service and spirit are a welcome respite from the crazy world right now. These people just want to make you happy with their food.

We will return!

This is a small restaurant, really more of a diner-type place. You order at the counter. I assume it was the owner who kept coming around to see if we enjoyed the food. The portion sizes!!! Seriously, I was able to get three meals out of one order of chicken teriyaki. The tables have bottles of the sauce, which was a bit thinner than usual, but delicious. This is a must if you are in the area.

We were in Yakima for a meeting and stumbled upon this spot because it was close to where we were - what a treat! This is one of those classic spots you might see on shows like "Diner, Dives & Drive-ins" - really unique, one of a kind restaurant with wonderful food, lots of personality and character. Definitely check it out! Varied menu too, so don't assume it's just a burger joint. And service was excellent; owner will explain the whole menu to you and won't steer you wrong. Everyone, customers included, seemed to be having a good time. We'll be back next time in Yakima!!

We were looking for a good burger and were trying to decide between here and Miner's dinner. I won out . Luckily we had ridden along the greenway earlier because it certain wasn't a low calorie meal. Best burgers ever though and definitely get the onion rings. We arrived just in time because as soon as we placed our order the place filled up.

This is one of the restaurants for which the Internet was invented! Driving by it seems like a totally hanky little spot that may not be worth your time, however, as is often the case, this is where some awesome stuff is being served up!

We came here after hearing about it online and also from a couple of friends. We stopped in for lunch one day, and then again about a week later, and then again about five days after that! We were really excited about the Pho that they had and had heard great things about the Yakisoba. Those rumors were absolutely true!

The place is very quaint, with seating for maybe 20 people. The smell emanating from here are incredible. They serve an array of foods from teriyaki, to noodle dishes, to burgers, all the way to a couple seafood dishes. They also have plenty of signs on the wall and napkins underneath the glass on the tables heralding the praise of this under the radar gem.

The Pho here, no joke, is some of the best we've ever had - and papa does love his noodle soup! It was the first time in recent memory that we both felt like the broth didn't need anything added to it. They have half a dozen options including vegetarian, shrimp and meat combinations.and it's a little on the expensive side at around $10 for a bowl, but it easily feeds a couple people. You could probably feed two adults and a child or to realistically, depending on how hardy the appetite of your toddlers is.

The Yakisoba is something that I think I'm going to start dreaming about on a fairly regular basis. There are signs all over the place eluding to how much food is there, but until you actually get it on the plate it's hard to appreciate it. It's seriously like a meat, egg, pepper, onion and noodle party on the plate. It doesn't come served as a meal, as much as a steaming pile of deliciousness!

The emotion that was felt the first time we saw this magnificent mountain of sustenance, I imagine it was similar to the emotion Michelangelo felt when he first saw the block of marble from which he would carve the statue of David!

Go forth and discover your David, at famous burger and teriyaki!
