We have eaten at the Barking Frog several times during two stays at the Willows Lodge and have never been disappointed. Their breakfasts are very good and the omelets are excellent.
The dinner menu is diverse and interesting. Some of their sides are quite special, for example the mandolin-sliced cauliflower dish and the beet steak with blue cheese. We enjoyed the oysters two different nights and the Grand Marnier prawns. We had the black cod and arctic char and were thrilled by the different mushrooms they offered in the dishes. One of us also had a pork bone-in chop from the rack that was sensational - the best pork ever.
The wine list is very good. Wines by the class are well chosen and reasonably priced.
