This was a special birthday present and oh how we loved it. The rooms are divine with fireplaces, great huge comfy beds. Total luxury! The staff was excellent and tended to our every wish. We spent a weekend and it was just the greatest local getaway for relaxation. We spent two afternoons just walking to the local wineries. Woodinville has become a mecca for top notch Washington wines. Highly recommend! I will review the wonderful Barking Frog restaurant in a separate review. Perfect food in a perfect atmosphere and right beside the lodge.

Spent a weekend getaway at this wonderful lodge. We were pampered from the moment we entered the building. While checking in we were offered wine. The room was wonderful - quite large, very clean and well stocked. The double soaker tub was the icing on the cake. The staff were extremely attentive. We enjoyed a wine flight in the Fireside Cellar lounge and were wowed by the Grand Marnier prawns. We also enjoyed the west coast art throughout the building and Barking Frog restaurant. I've stayed at many upscale establishments throughout the years but have never felt more pampered and looked after. Don't hesitate to book here.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the gardens.

We arrived late from Whistler but our room was already waiting and beds were turned down ready for us. Travis greeted us with a glass of wine and advised us that the spa/jacuzzi tub was still available until 1AM (the spa is hidden...so ask where it is located). Typical Washington weather, cold, cloudy, drizzle did not prevent the family from renting the trail bikes and meandering throughout the town and following the river trail before going wine tasting. I would advise you to go for an hour ride along the river. Jonathan, the doorman was very informative regarding places to see and things to do in the small town. EVERYBODY was very helpful and ever so nice. Don't forget to visit the two truffle foraging potbellied pig in the herb garden, Borage and Basil -- so cute..you might even think twice about having bacon! The Willows had coffee and tea in the morning, delicious hot cider in the afternoon and glasses of wine waiting upon arrival to the lodge... always enjoyable to be greeted with a glass! The room was perfect. We had one with a small backyard/courtyard -- nice to have our early morning coffee (French press coffee maker in the room) as well as smell the fresh air amongst the trees and hearing Canadian/America?! geese fly overhead. The bathtub was lovely -- although I did not get to partake since my kids used it as their own spa...but the shower was very nice. The bath products Molton Brown of London was a luxury! The fireplace in the room kept us very warm and cozy. So sad to leave our two night stay. Daniel at the front desk was very helpful as to directions and alternative routes into Seattle and the airport SeaTac. Willows is a great alternative to the urban "business" of Seattle. Many great restaurants around the lodge (Barking Frog, Purple Cafe, etc), wineries and Red Hook Brewery to entertain you!

Room Tip: I think the "nicer" room are ones with the private backyard. No need to pay extra if you don't need the courtyard/backyard. Try to ask for a room away from the courtyard doors because you do not want to hear the automatic doors closing and opening. We did not hear any noise from our neighbors though.

My husband and I had a great time at this hotel. The place is lovely, staff is tremendously kind and helpful. We made use of the spa where we had a great experience and could hand on the steam room and sauna. We had dinner at the marvelous barking frog restaurant that belongs to the hotel. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Pick 2nd floor, there are only two but you wont have anyone on top. Ask fro a room with a view o the mountains/ trees, lovely.

Was there on business retreat. The place screams luxury and is only minutes away from endless wine-tasting locations.

The rooms were top notch, with high attention to detail.

The outdoor fire pit was a highlight in the evenings.

The red hook brewery next door is an added benefit.

Great place overall, but you will pay for the luxury.
