The coffee served at Jacob's is consistently good, most likely because the owners roast their own beans. It is more "nut" like in taster rather than fruity, so the flavor has more depth and doesn't leave a bitter after-taste like other roasts. Most of the barristas know how to make a good espresso, getting enough grounds and good draw on each shot so the drink is not weak or bitter. Since the business a local, home-grown one the owners strive to be better than the local big coffee chains and they succeed.
