We wanted to try this local pizza restaurant, Bennidito's Pizza on the North Side. It's tucked away in a strip mall - not the ideal location but tasty food! They have a small dining area outside and tables and booths inside. We had excellent service and a really tasty "sammie" (sandwich). We ordered the large Grand Blvd. Sammie for $8.25 (it's a 12" sandwich which they'll split in half for no additional charge) that has pepperoni, italian sausage, salami, mushrooms, green peppers, onion, mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce on a hoagie roll. We also shared a small green salad (big enough for 2 people to share) for $3.50 (fresh crisp romaine lettuce, red onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and excellent croutons, a Mac & Jack for $5 and a Coors Light for $3.25. Perfect dinner for two who want a casual dinner.
The only suggestion is to remove the paper that the sandwich comes in. If you use a fork & knife you'll cut right through the paper and end up eatting it.
