I stopped in here for a quick bite, and lingered over my great meal and the delicious coffee. They even offer gluten-free menu items and have a "take and go" cooler to pick up a few items. The little "gift shop" in the back is worth a look, too.

The good news is that when the food arrives, it has been creatively prepared. We had a delightful, well spiced soup and bacon and eggs with fresh bread. The soup was not over-salted. The bacon would win a prize. However, the waitress forgot us, even though we were in plain sight, and we did not receive our order, or any other attention from the waitress, for 45 minutes. The cafe had other customers, but it was past the main lunch rush.

Get up early if you're staying at Suncadia and head over to Roslyn. Great breakfasts and reasonably priced. Try the chili relleno eggs or bagels and lox; can go wrong. Just a step away away from the candy store or Sunday Farmers Market. Quaint and relaxing. Park in front or just down the street. Friendly folks and a local gem of an eatery.

The Red Bird features lots of delightful baked goods, home style sandwiches, soups and more. Tucked away between a couple other businesses right off the main drag in Roslyn, you will find it a welcome place to enjoy delicious comfort foods.

We arrived and told to seat ourselves. The day AFTER the 4th of July. Lady owner on her own and doing her best. We got our order, without some of the sides cos they sold out but the food was delicious. Unfortunately over 12 people came and left because she didn't have any staff. I would go again but maybe she needs to up the wages!
