When was the last time you were handed a metal key at check-in? If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in a great location on the river, close to everything, this is it. With the exception of no lounge and horrible (contracted to vendor) dining, the only thing wrong is it's in need of a major renovation. Staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms were nicely sized and well equipped. The place is just a little worn out, but if your on a budget and don't plan to do anything except hit the pool and sleep, this is probably what your looking for.
.

Room Tip: river side is quieter and 2nd floor safer

Thank you very much for your review. We are currently working on an update on our property, but we live by the motto "affordable excellence". Our staff works hard to provide a friendly, clean and affordable environment for our guests. I hope you stop in again when you visit the Tri-Cities to see our changes.

We attended a 2 day show this past weekend at the Shiloh Inn & decided to spend the weekend at the Inn. We probably will NOT do it again. The place was very dated & needs a serious remodel, & I realize that requires a great deal of capital. Even some attention to small details would have been nice. very poor lighting at the show, bathrooms out of order, cash machine was down, walk out front of the show on the water side & paint was peeling everywhere plus unattended / unweeded gardens. I could live with all this. The room was nice for the price, the employees were very friendly, nice pool & hot tub, workout facilities, Wi-Fi, great view of the river & always good hot coffee by the front door. We paid $71 a night which was very reasonable. BUT the food service was the worst we have ever experienced! Breakfast was FREE & that is more than it was worth. Shiloh Inn has leased/contracted out this restaurant & lounge, & these people are wholly incompetent!! Breakfast was so poor that it was an insult, the menus were an insult, stand at the cash register for 15 minutes & not get waited on (5 or 6 different times) (another insult), the employees didn't have a clue if they were serving breakfast or not, or if they were serving lunch or not (it seems not). I know that the people that took over this food service are somewhat new here, but this was inexcusable. Shiloh Inn needs to do something about this or they won't have anybody staying here. It's a great location, close to the freeways, right on the river & the rooms are a decent value. BUT with a food service this bad we will NOT be back. Shiloh Inns need to step up to the plate. Good food & good service is not that hard. Like I said, if they don't improve the food service they won't have any customers staying there!

It was last night on 4/13/18 that we checked in, and there were so many people who checked in I think maybe a conference or something was in town, the front desk handled themselves very well, under stressful situation Jeanne, Aaron, and Kayla, were very nice and all deserve a pat on the back. You guys did great. Our room was very nice we got upgraded and no extra charge was made. Great team! We will definetly be staying in this hotel again!

I had a room there for 1 night and, haven't stayed at this location before, the Front Desk Rep Kayla M. was very very nice, I like how she accommodated all my worried and stayed professional. She welcomed me with a smile and looked very at ease, you definetly could tell this is her profession/career! Rooms were nice and clean and didn't smell. great trip over all!!

The Shilo shows its age; it's in need of updating. That said, my room was clean and the staff (housekeeping and front desk) were great. Since the restaurant is being updated it wasn't open but the kitchen did serve a free breakfast - bagels, cereal, eggs, ham, and biscuits and gravy. The food was good. I should also add that the Shilo provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, saving you money if you don't need a car.

Room Tip: Get a room on the outside that faces the Columbia River; it can get noisy on the inside rooms facing the swimming pool.
