This is a cute place to take a stroll. Lots of benches to sit and watch the boats and catch a sunset.

We really enjoyed our visit. The food options were nice, really enjoyed the walk around the boardwalk. It was a nice romantic place to go, plenty of places to sit.
This lakeside park on the southeast shore of beautiful Lake Washington offers over a mile of paved gentle walks, a bird sanctuary isle, a large children's playground, tennis courts, boat launch, some swimming and fishing, tree identifications, ducks, geese, and other birds, and views of the Olympic Mountains and of Mt. Ranier. There are several parking areas, a restaurant, a bandstand, rest rooms, and a picnic area--enjoyable for all ages. It is well groomed, and beautifully lit up from Thanksgiving through New Year's.
This is always my first thought whenever I think of a park in Renton. Just make sure that you go when its not too busy.
the park is huge which is nice. the issue is there is not sufficient parking for how big the park is to accommodate everyone.
It's sad in such a large park they do not allow bikes or dogs.
