Service was excellent. Food was good -- tomato sausage soup was pureed -- not to standard--had to turn it back and have the green salad. Had a roasted veal shank with vegetables--pretty good. Underseasoned and had to ask for salt and pepper. Wine pairings OK. Hey...it is pretty good for Puyallup. Glad to know they are here and that they are having a second chance.

Puyallup is such a small town and you probably won't expect a lot from this tiny city , but unlike the size of the city, this city offers one of the best Italian food I've ever had.
You will find good Italian restaurants in Seattle downtown with no problems, perhaps, but if you live around Puyallup or if you even live far from Puyallup, it is definitely worth going there. Especially their lasagna! It is die for it!

We started here because we heard the owner made the pasta at our other favorite restaurant in Parkland, Marzano's. We have never been disappointed with his food, rotating menu and food from their farm. We have taken pasta making class and special wine/dinner pairing opportunities. Can go wrong!

Arista was a total surprise. It was recommended by some friends and was in Puyallup which is 15 miles or so from Tacoma. The drive was well worth it. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated in an intimate corner of the rather small restaurant. We dined early so no reservations were needed. We started with warm bread and a tomato jam or sauce. What an excellent surprise. You could have put me in a bathtub of the jam and bread and I would have been happy. The meal was excellent with wild boar over parparle and pork and apple ravioli. We finished with a crème brule dessert. Thanks to Ben and his staff for a truly memorable evening!

This is the place I take special guests for lunch or dinner. Farm to table, the meals have delicious, fresh, and often unique ingredients. I love their mushroom ravioli. This past week, I had their special soup of the day -- squash. Excellent! Soup and entrée made for a very filling dinner, with a nice wine accompaniment. It is always a treat to go there. And my guests have really enjoyed it too.
