When I moved away from Seattle I sorely missed the decent, local coffee shops. Luckily, we happened upon Anthem. They have great coffee and are perfectly located in central Puyallup right next to Pioneer Park. The atmosphere is inviting and the food menu is great. I really enjoy the Pear Bacon Gorgonzola flatbread.

Visited on a Saturday during the Puyallup Farmer's Market. The line was long but the service was great, the frappe was great, but the drink was pricey ($6.50). Overall a good experience although I will look for a coupon next time or else it will need to be a special occasion to re-visit.

It's a pretty cool looking coffee shop in a terrific location down town. The coffee is typically over priced (like all coffee shops). The staff was nice but kind of slow. The coffee wasn't anything special.

Not Neighborhood Friendly. When Anthem first opened they were a good place to grab a cup of coffee but not now. Now it has been transformed into an upscale drinking establishment. When I went there early evening. The sidewalk outside had tables set up, where 20 somethings were drinking, smoking, and acting obnoxious. I feel sorry for the residents above who purchased condos in the building. Anthem Coffee and Tea is located next to the senior activity center also. The tables are blocking some of the sidewalk and disabled wheelchair ramps, so crossing the street could be difficult. Shame on you Anthem Coffee and Tea. You are No Longer Neighborhood Friendly. You have lost me as a customer!
