I took my family here for a close getaway from Seattle. Wonderful, peaceful and quite spot! Cute, quaint and everything we hoped. We will be coming back!
The picture in the listing is not the front of the house- this view faces the Hood Canal. On a dead end street, this location is quiet and relatively easy to find. It's the cabin behind the street home of 24483, so mind the mailboxes when you come, as it's a shared driveway.
Immaculate, modestly appointed. All you need is your food, jammies, and slippers for your stay. Deck out back could be appreciated in better weather. Definitely a comeback visit for us. Great place for down time. I did find some network info in a drawer, but it didn't work- not a big deal, but for those who 'need' internet, this would be a minor drawback.
Close to Poulsbo for shopping; don't know why the listing says it's in Ephrata; it's not.
Please note this is not a wheelchair-friendly place, as you take a few steps down to the door to enter, which are made of railroad ties. The high bank drops a good 60 feet straight down to the water, so if you have small kids, keep a sharp eye on them. Back yard is fenced, but that's not a sure-fire safety feature.
