The Swan was an easy drive from the ferry. We spent two nights in the little lodge in a first floor room. If you jumped, you could see the water. No matter, the sound of the gulls came through the windows and the water and marina were a short walk. The room, though cozy, was furnished with enough amenities, even a flashlight, and, real coffee cups. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Friendly check in. We would return to the Swan in a minute. It was an easy walk uptown to restaurants & shopping, nice to leave the car behind.

My daughter had a wedding ceremony and reception in Port Townsend at the Northwest Maritime Center, just across the street from the Swan hotel We held the entire hotel for members of the wedding party and guests. It was a great decision, as the Swan was a wonderful place for guests to stay. The wedding party stayed in the Penthouse and that proved to be a delightful place for preparations. Location= perfect. Rooms = very comfortable. Staff = totally helpful and friendly and accomodating.

Room Tip: Penthouse has stunning views and wonderful layout.

What a great location! Right off the beach, and across from the Wooden Boat Information center, complete with Velocity Coffee shop. Easy parking, nice room. So happy to have been able to bring our dog with us.
Nice, clean room. Pleasant staff.
Only issue was a very loud guest upstairs who seemed to need to walk around a lot!

My adult children and I rented the top floor of the Swan Hotel recently. It is a terrific place for a family stay, with two bedrooms and a loft with two beds, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, family room with television and large dining room table for 8. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were terrific, like feather pillows, plus there were plenty of them. The carpet was padded which made walking around pleasurable for tired feet. The rooms had pretty paintings of boats, and there were two decks for sitting and enjoying the views, one out to the marina and water. Hotel within easy walking distance of downtown. Terrific breakfast fare nearby at Point Hudson Cafe. May need earplugs for airplane noise late at night and seagulls calling in the early a.m.
We wanted to stay longer than one night to enjoy the comfort and relaxation provided by the penthouse suite. Hotel staff super helpful and friendly. Maps of downtown available and good suggestions for restaurants.

Dear Swimmer 067,
Thank you for your positive review of the Swan Hotel Penthouse. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and the accommodations the Penthouse provided.

I will pass on your comments to the staff. You are right about the "early bird" seagulls and the noise they make and is why we provide earplugs.
Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you back on a return visit.

We stayed in the cottages as we have a dog. The location is perfect so close to the Marina and beach. Small rooms but outside most of time. Parking for one car. Clean and neat. We would stay here again.

Dear Diane B,
Thank you for your 4-star review of the Swan Cottages. Not all of our cottages are dog friendly and we are glad you got the one that was.

We enjoy our furry friends and wish there could be more outdoor restaurants where you could take your dog.

Thanks for staying at The Swan and we look forward to your next visit.
