Our car club stayed here on a recent drive. All the rooms were very comfortable. The cabin was very cute with the little private garden spot. So much quieter than staying on the main Street. Their recommendation for breakfast was delicious.

This place is right out of a postcard. We took the "penthouse" on the top floor, with a wrap-around deck and views of the water - great for sunsets and sunrises. The rooms were large and comfortable, quiet and very conducive to relaxation. Port Townsend is a truly lovely little town, I only wish we could have spent more time there. Rented bikes from Bob at PT Cyclery and did a 2-hour ride on a beautiful trail. Had a wonderful dinner at Silverwater Café. Take your time, and take it all in. Well worth a visit.

Dear Guest,
The sentiments in your review are delightful and poetic. Once is definitely not enough to enjoy all that the tip of the Quimper Peninsula has to offer. Thank you for being our guest!

For a short stay in Port Townsend, you couldn't ask for a better location. Its right downtown and close to the marina. Our room had a mini-frig and a microwave. The owners lent us wine glasses and an opener and free popcorn as well. It is well kept and very quiet for an older wood structure. The town is lovely and everyone we met felt lucky to live there. We will return again next year for the Centrum Jazz Festival.

Room tip: Get a room off the first floor if you want a view of the water.

First of all Port Townsend is really cool and it would be fun to park the car and walk or ride bikes all over. This small personal boutique hotel was like a giant breath of calm while traveling. I had a second floor room, which was like a quarter of a house on the corner. It was nicely appointed, and the front desk had movies to borrow, popcorn and water. You did need to climb stairs to get there. So if that's a concern you might want to share that when making the reservation. The cottages shown in the photos are a single room and looked very interesting. However they are among the small parking area so you might have lights in your windows at night. This was a lovely location and I would go back tomorrow! Thank you for the peace and calm!!

The Swan Hotel is the perfect place to stay when you're visiting Port Townsend. It's close to everything. Walking distance to restaurants, theaters, whale watching, etc...
The room we stayed in was very nice. Very clean and well priced. We will definitely be back! The desk personnel was friendly and helpful.
