Pretty average for Veranda Beach Resort... Okay for poolside food. The drinks were limited, but good!

What a neat place! Great view of the lake, comfy chairs, great atmosphere and a varied menu with something for everyone. It's a little out-of-the-way, but worth the easy trip. Veranda Beach has cottage owners from all over North America, and many from the prairie provinces and BC. A fun place to visit, and a great place for lunch. You will not be disappointed.
We came here during August long weekend because we were told about this cute little Pleasantville style community. This was the only restaurant on the Resort but we got seats right away and the food was very good. I love the atmosphere, feels like the 50's and families were out playing everywhere, there was no one playing on their phones or computers and everyone was super friendly. I would love to stay here someday. Great day visit across the border!
We have been owners at Veranda Beach Resort for 7 years and watched the diner change hands a few times. This season it is operated by Breadline out of Omak. First off, the view is fantastic - looking right out onto the lake.
The service was good and our server was attentive to our needs.
The menu consists of burgers, sandwiches and pizza with some dinner entrees. Here's a link to their menu.
Overall our experience was good. So if you are staying at the resort and don't feel like cooking or driving into town, then have a meal at the diner.
Under new management for the summer. Caters mainly to the residents at Veranda Beach. A branch of The Breadline Cafe in Omak, WA. good quality food and service. A little spendy for the locals.
