Saigon Kitchen is a good restaurant, fair portions, good flavor, and priced for the neighborhood. The service is sometimes a bit slow but it is a nice place to sit and talk with friends or family.

Has Chinese and Vietnamese food. Reasonable prices, tasty dishes, cheap drinks.

Nice and quiet inside, pleasantly furnished, clean. Will go back again.

Three trains went by as we ate but it wasn't noisy.

We usually make the trek to Seattle's Chinatown for great food: the Honey Court for dim sum and the Phnom Penh Noodle House for soup and pretty much everything else. Yes; there are many other notable places, some of which we've tried. We're just creatures of habit.
This is the second time we've tried Saigon Kitchen in Monroe because it's pretty close. The first time was good: standard combo meals and chow mein. Today's lunch was a huge step up. Spouse had the Pho Tom, which he pronounced on a par with the Phnom Penh (perhaps with a small handicap for proximity). I had the Bun Tom Nuong -- rice vermicelli with grilled prawns, basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, fish sauce, ground peanuts, etc. This was simply outstanding. The prawns were generous, fresh, smoky and cooked just enough to stay juicy. YUM.
Prices aren't cheap, but they're certainly reasonable. The place is attractive and clean. Don't expect fast food; they actually cook to order.
We'll be back...probably more than we should. Proximity will be our downfall.

Very good Chinese restaurant with family dinners and individual entries that are reasonably priced with large portions.
