A Monday happy hour visit with friends. Great drink and large variety of food specials, epic view and the usual great service. The bar was almost full at 3pm and the service was quick and friendly. I’m an old fan of Salty’s and I wasn’t disappointed. My companions were pleased with coconut shrimp and seafood chowder. I had a good couple of Moscow Mules. The bathrooms are a bit tired and I swear nothings changed inside in years, but that doesn’t really matter with a combo of fantastic view, considerate service and good food.

Thank Marissa B

We have gone to Salty's off and on for many years. Our favorite was their Happy Hour, which was very good and reasonably priced. The other night we went to dinner with several family members. Again, the view was beautiful. The wait staff was attentive. However the food was so-so. The prices were as high as most of the high end restaurants in the Seattle area, without the quality and presentation. I had a vodka drink, a martini on the rocks. It was $15.00, and nothing to shout about.
I would go to lunch or Happy Hour, but for about 1/2 the price, you can go up the road to Anthony's in Des Moines, and get a very nice dinner.

The staff is welcoming and provides wonderful service. There is a lot of variety for the weekend brunch buffet which is nice, but the quality of the food was very poor. Salty's management, time to make some updates to the facilities and the food.

Always a favorite restaurant until today! Service was great as usual. Food was below standard. I ordered a bowl of Fish Chowder and a side of Salad. The Chowder was lukewarm with undercooked vegetables. Celery in particular, was in large, hard chunks.
I have had Salty's Chowder many times in the past. It has always been my favorite. I recommended it to my lunch companion. We were both extremely disappointed. Maybe prepared by a new chef??
Salad was served in a small custard-like bowl with greens much too large for bite-size. Impossible to cut with a knife because of bowl size.
The location, atmosphere and service were all desirable. The price was much too high for such a poor meal.
