Loved our stay here traveling between Mount Ranier and Olympic. You might be skeptical from the outside but trust the reviews. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was OK but basic, but I give the motel the highest rating because of the helpful staff, the bargain price, tasty cookies and fruit available all the time, and most especially, the view of Oyster Bay from the balcony of our room. It was beautiful.

This is a an older motel but I've stayed in a lot of places, including $350.00 a night balcony over-the-water hotels and this place is exceptional for what you pay for. The employees were very nice and professional, there are folks cleaning the grounds from sunup, rooms are very clean, windows on the balcony (full walll of windows) were so clean they looked brand new. Bed was soft, the carpet is older, new digital TV, small refrigerator and microwave. Normal hotel in-room amenities except for room service. The view out the balcony is serene, beautiful and worth more than they charge here. You can tell the employees here care about this place. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm here. Wireless was fine; didn't notice any issues with it. Cookies in the lobby and coffee all the time, small cold breakfast in the lobby (didn't partake, other plans). Stayed three nights.

Room Tip: 2nd and 3rd Floors are gorgeous

Dates of stay: 7/31/18 (Room 104) and 8/5/18 (Room 304)
We booked 2 different days at The Flagship Inn and this was the first time we stayed in this area. The lobby, halls, stairs, and room were all clean! The room was medium sized and spacious. We had 1 King bed with night stands on both sides, an armed chair with side table, a table with 2 chairs, Flat screen TV, 3 drawer dresser, bench & open rack across from sink for hanging clothes. The bed was very comfortable. One wall was mirrored and gave the room a more open feel. We had a private balcony that overlooked the bay.
Breakfast, which starts at 5:00am, was continental and included hard boiled eggs, various pastries, dry cereals, instant oatmeal, apples, oranges, bananas, cookies, hot chocolate, hot tea, milk and orange juice. Their cinnamon rolls are one of the best we’ve ever had!
The man who checked us in and out on 7/31 was kind, professional, and soft spoken (I believe his name was John). The lady who checked us in 8/5 was very pleasant & helpful. Both days on arrival we were handed a TV guide & could easily choose what we wanted to watch & knew what time it started (We really like this idea as the information was very detailed).
The hotel has an outside pool, which was nice & clean, as well as a small workout room & guest laundry (more than reasonably priced).
The hotel has 3 floors: main floor, upstairs, and downstairs (No elevator).
Everything was as advertised and the price was reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.
*Note: great view of bay in Room 304

Room Tip: There are no elevators. Also, Room 304 has a nice view of the bay.

Even though the hotel is a bit dated, our room was comfortable, well appointed (refrigerator, microwave oven) clean and quiet. We especially enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast had everything we wanted. Staff was personable and very nice.

This hotel is on the side of a hill overlooking Oyster Bay. Our room was a floor down from the level of reception but when we entered the room we saw a balcony with a great view of the water below. The room itself was excellent but the balcony really made it special. The hotel offers breakfast which is not as elaborate as some of the chain hotels but provided the essential nutrients. There is also fruit and coffee available at all times. The staff we dealt with were all friendly and professional. Check in time is 2:00 and check out time is noon. The room rate was very reasonable and this is definitely the best value I have had from a hotel in a long time.
