We came here as a group for happy hour to celebrate a birthday, and it was wonderful. The drinks, even the ones listed for the $5 happy hour special, are phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I hope to come back again soon!

Nice ambiance. Good libations. Service okay. Food mixed. My tuna was dry and hard, a shame at $30. In fact one of the worst pieces of fish I have ever had. Other diners in the party were more approving of their dishes but without enthusiasm. It pains me to say this: the best thing we had by unanimous vote were the Happy Hour Sweet Potato fries for an appetizer with an interesting ketchup. I cannot imagine we will return and the reason has nothing to do with the type of food here but how it was prepared. Not a good ambassador for a fresher and healthier alternative. Even though there were many vacant tables throughout our stay we were given the impression during arrival that our reservation was critical to being admitted. Wishful thinking does not make a successful restaurant.

We chose this restaurant for our daughter’s birthday dinner because she has a host of food allergies and it was exciting to come across a place that eliminates gluten, soy and refined sugar, all of which she is allergic to. We figured they would easily accommodate her other allergies, too. Not so. She is also allergic to dairy, garlic and almonds and almost all of their dishes had at least one of these ingredients in them. Dairy is such a common allergy that we were really surprised. She ended up getting dry halibut and fries. Any other restaurant could have come up with that. On top of that, it took almost an hour to get our food...waaaay too long. And it was just ok. Nothing special. The server was very kind...the only bright spot. The chefs need to get more creative...I know from personal experience that cooking well to accommodate food allergies is possible and can be very tasty. They just need to go a little further outside the box.

Bothell needed some new hangouts. This place is fresh and has great ambiance, but was a little over rated. The staff seemed to be trying to portray a "white table cloth", upscale ambiance, when it's more of a modern brick cafe.
We went for happy hour. Don't bother getting the Groupon. Happy hour prices are better than what you actually get, unless you order the most expensive glass of wine on the list. The happy hour variety of drinks is fine, but the food is somewhat limited. I appreciated the healthful choices, but even so, most of the dishes were lacking in zest. Everything is served with "Paleo crackers" (gluten free) instead of bread or optional regular crackers which were NOT good. Tip to chef - offer sprouted bread or something as an option.
Probably best recommended for a quick HH drink or if you are looking for a gluten free spot, but not for a savory traditional meal or casual hangout.

Great ambiance for the 30+ crowd. I went with a group of friends and we were excited to try the newish place in town. We went early and were able to enjoy happy hour pricing on our drinks and apps. Good thing, because they weren’t worth full price. Everything was OK, but nothing was great. No one in our group has celiac disease so gluten free was not a draw for us. If a friend wanted to go again, I wouldn’t object but I’m not going to suggest it.
