Walk out and leisurely browse the shops of historic Fair Haven. This is a comfortable inn with a cozy library/sitting room where you can read, play a game, or enjoy warm tea and coffee all day and night. The rooms are a bit larger than usual - and bright and pleasant. My one comment would be that I missed having a refrigerator.
The staff was pleasant and provided ample advice concerning my many questions. The adjoining bar provided the space to relax with a drink and conversation. If pizza is to your tastes, the restaurant just a couple of doors down makes a tasty one. Get there before 6:00 for a special price. The book store across the street also has a cafe upstairs where you can start your book or just sit, sip, and enjoy the view.
February was my first stay there, with a return trip in March. I plan on booking here again in the spring and summer.
