Wonderful finding. We had a last minute booking issue with another place and by calling the eagle harbor inn they went out their way to accommodate us. The townhouse was amazingly well decorated, supper comfortable and cozy. We wish we could have stayed longer. Great place to gather with friends and family surrounded by great shops and restaurants all at walking distance. It was the highlight of our stay in Seattle area.

The hotel is beautiful and pricey. We stayed in the Grand Forest room. Bed super comfortable. Room very clean but nothing special. Blinds were fine, we could close and feel private. TV and closet are very small. Room spacious enough. Coffee is offered outside the room in small lobby. We are very early risers so waiting until 7:30 for the coffee to be delivered was a challenge. Luckily they brought it early both days and we slept in thanks to the firm and comfortable bed and pillows. Parking felt safe and secure inside the compound of the inn. We did bring earplugs, but always do. You never know when you will get a noisy neighbor. Luckily only two neighbors and everyone quiet. Very close to street, but little traffic. We were there on a Friday and Saturday night and didn't hear party crowds from bars. Shower fine, again, nothing special. Planters outside were lovely, nice outside shared space with chairs. So much to see in this town that we didn't stay there long though. I think for this place to keep charging over $200 a night they are going to have to ramp it up a bit. They did have a plate of refrigerator chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. I didn't see any consumed. So many good bakeries nearby! To increase the value, maybe offer some Croissants and butter and jam with the coffee? Or a free evening boat ride? (They have a boat at the nearby marina.) Definitely the best of locations, so will make it an expensive splurge again. Town is an explosion of food choices and all just blocks away. You could easily walk over on the ferry and walk all over town, enjoying a non-car weekend.

The Eagle Harbor Inn is very clean and right near all that any guests would want to visit on Bainbridge Island. The units were very comfortable and the bed in the Grand Forest room was very comfortable. We also have stayed in the Rockaway Beach Suite. The only real complaint is the noise. In the rooms the AC/Heater worked great, but these units by nature are noisy. There are quieter options but the entire units would have to be replaced. The street noise was probably the worst for us. Not much can be done as the building sits basically right on the street separated only by the sidewalk and elevation only by what floor/room you are in. Luckily the street is not the busiest street on Bainbridge Island, but it is a business/restaurant area and so delivery trucks and other vehicles will travel regularly nearby. I would stay again, but simply be prepared.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs if you want long, quiet night sleep.

If you are visit Bainbridge Island and want to stay right in town, this is the place. We had the Wing Point Suite which was perfect for the two of us. The room is simple but still has everything you need. Bed, couch, tv, desk, and a mini fridge. The inn is right around the corner from Cafe Nola and Eagle Harbor Books. Two of my favorite places in the area. It’s also just a short stroll to the marina. We will be back and if we have more people traveling with us we will stay in one of the townhouses on property.
