We were touring Colonial Williamsburg and had about an hour and a half to spare between finishing all the buildings at Williamsburg and our "Ghosts Among Us" Tour. We shopped a little and then needed to eat before the tour. The first two places we went had a wait but this pub was able to seat us pretty quickly. It had a nice selection of salads, signature burgers, apps and entrees. The portions were very small on the appetizers but the sandwiches were quite large. The service was quick and good. It was the perfect place for a quick but full meal between activities.

Ate lunch with family while visiting CW. They seated us quickly despite being busy. Service was not impressive but OK. We were not impressed with the food (for the price). Approximately $100 for 4 adults & one child, all drinking water. Nice area so we expected pricey bar food. However, we also expect a little better than average food. Great location.

We were looking for a place to eat after touring Colonial Williamsburg. As it was off season, the restaurants were not serving that day. Although the restaurants inside the colonial site are historic and charming, they also tend to be very expensive. We had a great dinner at one of them five years ago and recommend them. We were thrilled to find the DoG Street Pub that is just across from Colonial Williamsburg. The trolley stops just across the street. The food was great and our waiter was fast and friendly. I was happy to find a delicious Welsh Rarebit on the menu as my father used to make it when I was young.

Bartenders are friendly and helpful. The complimentary peanuts were awesome and had to buy several cans to take home as souvenirs!

The food here was great and the portions are huge! We had burgers which were super juicy and flavorful. The fries were great too. We saw others having the fish and chips, sandwiches, and a hot dog--come with your appetite! I recommend if you're in the area.
