We own a timeshare here and have stayed many times. The property is clean and well-managed, with beautiful grounds. It feels like a small country town. The resort is located not too far from Colonial Williamsburg.

We have been going to this resort for over 15 years. This time we got in on Friday night and had no problems. Around 11:00 PM a family moved in above us and each must have weighed 300 LBS. We heard every movement, every step and they talked so loudly we heard every work. They left at 12:00 PM to go to the store, came back around one and then talked on the phone till 3:00 AM. At this time I went into the hallway and told them to be quiet, it was 3:00 AM!!!! The next day I tried to go and use the pool and was told it was closed. This was not on the web page and when we checked in the day before we were told the pool would be open at 8:00 AM for lap swimming. On Sunday we still couldn't use the pool, the neighbors upstairs were still stomping around and we left so we could get some sleep at home. This was very disappointing because 1. We paid a resort fee for "Amenities" which included the pool. 2. We couldn't sleep because the staff put a large family on the 2nd floor when they had a LOT OF OPEN Units available. 3. The folks on the 2nd floor had a friend or family member picked up by the police for moving drugs.

Room Tip: Ask if anyone is on the 2nd floor of the two level units. First floor is easier to move all your belongings into and out of.

Gary T, we are terribly sorry for the negative experience you had at our resort this time around. The indoor pool was indeed closed, however, notices were posted that during the closure guests would be allowed to use the pool at a neighboring site, which is our sister resort property, The Colonies at Williamsburg. There was never a time when a swimming option was not provided. It is unfortunate that you did not choose to visit The Colonies because it does have a beautiful pool facility. Furthermore, if the front desk has been notified of the noise coming from the guests above you, they would have followed their protocol for noise complaints, which is to place a courtesy call to the offending guests and then follow up with a visit from Security personnel if the noise does not stop. Your comments have been forwarded to the General Manager for further review. Please keep in mind that the $25.00 required Resort Fee includes the Wi-Fi, in-room safe, access to the fitness room and computer center, Coffee or tea in the Clubhouse, pool towels, DVD Movie checkout, and some other resort activities available. We hope your next stay at our resort is much better than this.

We were unfortunate to have been there during the rare winter blizzard of January 2018. Nevertheless, the resort has come through and made our stay very pleasant. We're from Canada, so 4 inches of snow is nothing, but we witnessed how bad that was for the city of Williamsburg. The resort tried very hard to keep up with the snow clearing and such, and we appreciated them for that.

The heated indoor pool is nice and large for the kids. The rec room behind the front office always had hot drinks and cookies available. Computers and a printer are also there, with printing at no cost. There are lots of board games for us to borrow. Lots of DVDs too. They are older movies, but they are there for you.

Front desk staff were all very nice and polite to us. We asked for more washing machine detergents a couple of times, and they were always available - at no charge.

Location is not a problem, if you have a car. Lion Foods Grocery, Outlet Malls, and dining options on Richmond are all just minutes away. There's a strip mall right beside the resort too, with some dining options. Lots of food delivery options as well.

We do recommend this resort, and we will be happy to return.

Visit Williamsburg and tried this place with the family. From the room service to the Resort amenities. We love this Resort. It’s a home away from home, with all of the updated appliances and living configurations. The kids were able to relax and the wife and I were able to be alone without worrying about not having enough space. Our favorite place to visit when we are in the area. ❤️❤️❤️ they spoiled us
