I am a Hilton Diamond member, I visit Williamsburg every year - This is a nice property but I noticed this year the rooms are not quite as well maintained as I have seen in the past. There are many tour groups that use this hotel so I am sure it takes a beating - The front desk crew is excellent and always warm and friendly. If you are going there with a tour group - this hotel will be ok

Thank you for submitting a review on TripAdvisor. I appreciate that you gave us high marks for service. We pride ourselves on operating a clean, safe and well maintained hotel, so I am disappointed that we did not meet your expectations in that regard. Certainly, though, we are for more than just tour groups! Thanks

Our room was clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast had many choices and was good. Manager's reception was a plus. As long as the quality and price remains there, we will visit again.

This was my families third stay at this property. Overall the rooms are on the smaller side for an Embassy. The bathroom is in the front of the suite so if you are using the pullout for sleeping you have to go through the living room to get to the bathroom. Not big deal but different. The hotel does offer a larger suite and a jacuzzi suite which is larger with a rather long hallway from the floor to the living room and bedroom. Even though they are near the elevators they are very quiet. I would recommend these rooms. In the summer the hotel can be very crowded with larger crowds at breakfast and the reception. There were several bus trips at the hotel on our stay in April but these were no problem The bus trips tended to get up earlier and leave and were not really around for the reception. Actually the kids on the school trips were much quieter than many of the children traveling with families and parent allowing their children to run through the lobby or up and down the halls. The reception has a hot dip or each night for nachos or pitas rotating over our three nights. The breakfast was well stocked with sizable omelets. The reception used plasticine glasses 3 out of the 4 nights and they were rather small for beer of mixed drinks. The Assistant GM usually visited during the reception and was very helpful on the sights and tourist attractions. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu for the Atrium Cafe although not large was tasty and reasonable priced for hotel food. This hotel is very close to Colonial Williamsburg, the Colonial Parkway and not far from the outlet shopping and restaurants. I would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: I would recommend the larger suites or jacuzzi suite even though they cost a bit more. They sit wel...

First, let me thank you for staying with us during three separate trips to Williamsburg. Secondly, thank you for taking the time to write such an extensive review. You certainly are a pro at visiting Wiliamsburg and your comments about our hotel are accurate and appreciated. I am glad to see you enjoyed talking to Rick (the assistant G.M.) and that his information was helpful to you. We hope to see you again

Our family (four adults, 2 children) stayed April 27th and 28th. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom suite. The suite was great for us. There was plenty of room. The staff was terrific all around. The morning breakfasts were better than most restaurants ... cooked to order eggs, etc. The evening reception with snacks, drinks, etc. was a nice touch. There were many large groups there during our stay, but it was reasonably quiet. I would recommend this hotel to any family looking to visit the area, and want very good accommodations at a reasonable rate.

Room Tip: Off the Atrium, away from vending, stairs, exits, elevators.

Thank you for your recent comments about your stay with us. The room type that you had is fairly limited at our property and I am glad that you were able to enjoy one of them during your stay. Certainly for larger families, the two bedroom/two bath is the way to go. Thanks also for the comments about breakfast. I will certainly share them with the team. We hope to see you again soon. Thanks

We stayed at the embassy suites for 3 nights while visiting colonial williamsburg. The staff was excellent. Happy hour with snacks for the grandchildren excellent. Breakfast buffet was everyhing you could ask for. Reaaly enjoyed out stay. We had the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect. 2 bathrooms and very clean. Only problem during the whole stay was no sign of housekeeping on the second morning. Other days it was fine. Highly recommend. Even though 2 busloads of kids arrived the second night it was still very quiet.
