Our family went for a trip to Christmas Town. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. It was right down the road from Busch Gardens which was perfect . I would recommend this hotel if traveling to Williamsburg for a trip to Busch Gardens.

The front desk staff were so helpful and welcoming! I really liked that I could sign up for text service that allowed me to contact front desk if I needed anything. When we took the hotel shuttle to Busch Gardens, we were able to text when we were ready to return to the hotel. I even received a text the next day, asking how our stay was going and if we needed anything. What service! And the hotel room was clean and comforable too!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Being met with a friendly face and a helpful smile upon checkin sets this hotel apart from many others. The rooms are a good size, very clean, and comfy beds. The restaurant and cafe for late night coffee or dinner is an added plus. The food in the restaurant was very good and the service was great also. We will stay here again without hesitation!

Great Hotel, plenty of free parking nice restaurant and bar close to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and other local attractions. Great staff indoor/outdoor pool area. Nice rooms and suites very comfortable beds, great for families.

Stayed at the Doubletree Williamsburg for 2 nights over the New Year weekend. Hotel is located right next to Busch Gardens. It's a 3-minutes drive. Williamsburg town center and College of William and Mary are 5 minutes away. It's centrally located for visiting Williamsburg. The only downside about its location is the relative few selections of restaurants. Most restaurants are on the northwestern side of Williamsburg, about 5 to 10 minutes drive away. Didn't try the hotel restaurants or room service, except for breakfast (see below).

We had a double queen bed room. Room was very spacious and clean. In addition to the two queen beds, there was a sofa, a chair, and a desk with an office chair. No coffee table though. The beds were comfortable and on the firm side (to my liking), and extra pillows we requested were in the room when we arrived. There is a mini fridge in the room, but no microwave. Bath room was clean. No real issues with plumbing except for the slow flowing toilet. Needed to hold the flush handle to ensure a proper flushing, sometimes twice.

Breakfast buffet (compliments of Hilton Honors program) was decent: fruits, yogurt, cereal, sliced bread, English muffin, muffin, bacon, sausage, egg, french toast sticks, and three different juices and milk. Omelet station wasn't manned during our stay, most likely due to the holiday weekend.

There were couple minor issues that we experienced. 1 - Digital Key never worked for us, even with hotel staff resetting it several times. 2 - Our reservation was paid at time of booking. They charged us again after we checked out. Called the hotel and they promptly refunded it. Quick resolution, but it should not have happened in the first place.

Overall we enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Will we stay here again? Yes.
