Stopped for a quick lunch and we weren’t disappointed! The Brunswick Stew was delicious and hearty. My husband ordered the Tuna Melt and he enjoyed it as well. My boys ordered the PB&J and the cheeseburger which were big servings and satisfying. The Meyer Lemon Lemonade is a must if it’s available and the carrot cake! Gah, the carrot cake was delicious! If we didn’t have such a long back ride to our hotel, we probably would have bought more mini desserts at the bakery adjacent to the café.

Thank Valerie L

Something about decor which is 100% all about carrots seems a tad creepy. But the food was just right for lunch after visiting the Jamestown historic site. Sandwiches, crepes, quiche, Soup, iced tea. What's wrong with that?

Carrot Tree moved from a small place on Jamestown Rd in Williamsburg to a larger location near Jamestown and Rt 199. Food is still great and the baked goods are delicious.

Loved the lunch, great place to take friends, colleagues or a business meal. Warm inviting atmosphere, great staff and the bakery...Of course the bakery display case greets you when you enter the front door. So you cannot leave without purchasing a carrot cake, better than getting just a slice, you save and get more, and its well worth it!

Dining at Carrot Tree is always a pleasant experience. The chicken salad sandwich with bacon was good for brunch today. My daughter got a Mimosa, and I enjoyed a Bloody Mary to celebrate a special occasion for her. She ordered the BBQ sandwich, and my husband got a more traditional breakfast.
