It was refreshing to see the attention to detail put into maintaining a campground. While it is on the expensive side, they seem to reinvest it into the property. All the amenities were well done and clean. The sites were huge and staff was very helpful. Just as I was exclaiming that the place had everything you could imagine for a campground, the kids called out the lack of a jumping pillow, so I guess they have some more work to do to earn the 7 and 8 yr old stamp of approval.
The place is huge and golf carts are everywhere. We were lucky enough to stay before Memorial Day, so it was empty and we had a good site, but I could see how the place can get bogged down in the peak season. Definitely bring bicycles!
The water park and lake/beach/trampoline were awesome, even in 60 degree rain.More
