We stayed for a 3 night trip. The drive to the cabin and 2 others requires going on an unpaved road that has steep incline. My two wheel drive car did ok a little struggle but maybe in incliment weather it might be more tough. This is our second visit (first was at Sugar Shack). This cabin was well secluded which was nice. The back deck doesnt face east so no sunrise to see from there. The cabin was well furnished with full kitchen that included essential cooking equipment which made nice for cooking meals. The hot tub was great. It was unseasonably warm and rainy during our trip but still enjoyable. We especially like the 15 min close proximity to Skyline Dr. As hiking was our main reason for the stay in the area.
The only two negatives about the cabin are the hottub cover looked old and need of replacement and the air conditioner everytime it kicked on it makes a loud bang that didnt make sleeping easy for us.More
